Welcome to Amana Elementary School -Karen, where we believe that learning takes place when what we know is being challenged by new ideas brought in our daily lives. A classroom lesson is meaningful as it effectively provides conceptual knowledge and each learner see the value beyond what the lessons provides.
As a parent myself, I fully understand that a child’s happiness, safety and wellbeing must be a priority. At Amana School, we want our children to enjoy the most formative years of their lives. We want them to be supported and challenged in equal measure by providing opportunities for them to develop individual character of effective learning and life.
As your Headteacher this is my promise to you;

My teaching philosophy of using inquiry based, reflective, constructivism and collaboration to deliver the school curriculum was laid when I started my teaching career at Msingi Bora Kindergarten.
Amana school shall continue to use the same teaching philosophy and having been involved in the development and training of teachers in the new CBC curriculum. I can confidently say there is a good fit of Amana teaching philosophy and the new CBC curriculum.
